Officers and cadets of the National Military School of the Republic of India visited NAB RK on March 26 together with representatives of youth maslikhat of Astana city at Astana city branch of “Nur Otan” NDP.

On 18 March, 2010, a holiday event devoted to Nauryz took place in the Ethnography room of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This event was organized by the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and school #37 by name of S.Maulenov of Astana city.

On 16 March, 2010, theatre staging on Erich Kastner was shown in the frame of the Year of Germany in Kazakhstan, in the “Kogildir” Hall of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Students of the fifth, seventh, and eighth grades of German gymnasium #46 of Astana city, under the direction of Julia Koll (Scholar of Robert Bosh Foundation) and Natalie Keller (Language Assistant, German Language Center of Astana city), participated in the project. Students from eight schools of Astana city studying the German language were invited as audience to the performance.

On 4 March, 2010, a meeting of the organizing committee of the Action “One Country – One Book” on selecting a book for the project took place in the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On 26 February, 2010, opening of exhibition “Kazakhstan – Zhasampaz Zhetistikter Zholynda” devoted to history of independent Kazakhstan took place in the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
